Submission Guidelines
General Information:
· Submit creative prose, poetry, art, photography, and graphic media.
· You must be a student or staff member at Tualatin High to submit.
· The submission must be original work.
· Students who speak a language other than English are encouraged to submit work in that
language accompanied by an English translation. Please indicate if you would like staff
assistance with the translation.
· There is no limit on number of submissions per person and there are no length restrictions.
However, submissions longer than 5 pages will be broken into chapters or episodes.
· If you wish to have your work published anonymously or under an appropriate pseudonym,
please indicate that when you submit your work.
Written Submissions
· Submissions must be typed, or scanned. and submitted electronically.
· Please send work to [email protected] . You may also bring it on a flash drive or other
portable device to Ms. McCaffrey in Room 158.
· Microsoft Word, pdf, and jpeg formats are preferred, or simply include the text in the body of the
email.
· If you are unable to submit your work in an electronic format, please contact Ms. McCaffrey.
Art and Photography
· Digital photography and art can be submitted electronically. (See above for guidelines.)
· Other types of media should be submitted to Ms. McCaffrey in Room 158, and clearly marked
with the name of the artist, grade level, contact information, medium and title if applicable.
They will be either scanned or photographed for publication. All original artwork will be
returned as soon as possible.

· Grade level
· Contact Information (Phone and Email)
· Title of work
· Medium (for visual arts)
